Chin Up Bar

The GoFit Chin Up Bar is a great addition to your at home training program. The bar is perfect for chin-ups and can also be used as a foot anchor for sit-ups push ups and crunches.

The heavy duty chin up bar will adjust to fit most standard width(28" to 36") interior door frames. Before using always make sure that the brackets are properly mounted and the bar is securely adjusted to fit the mounting brackets. Do not use bar in doorways wider than 36" or without properly mounted brackets.

Mounting hardware will include 4 weight bearing brackets: 2 for mounting high in your door, and 2 for mounting the bar low in the doorway for doing push-ups and sit ups.

Can I install my GoFit Chin Up Bar, Ultimate Chin Up Bar, or Gravity Bar without using the included mounting brackets?
Do not install any GoFit Chin Up Bar, Ultimate Chin Up Bar, or Gravity Bar without the included and required hardware. These items were designed to be used with all of the hardware that is included. If you do not find all of the necessary hardware in the box, please contact Customer Service and we will send you the needed items.

Can I install the Chin Up Bar, Ultimate Chin Up Bar or Gravity Bar in a door opening that does not have a frame?
These items should NOT be installed in doorways without a solid door frame. These specific GoFit Products were designed to be utilized and supported by the included hardware being installed into a solid doorframe. 

What is a standard doorway size?
For the GoFit Chin Up Bar, the Ultimate Chin Up Bar, and Gravity Bar, standard doorway size means 32 to 36 inches. For the Elevated Chin Up Station, standard doorway is limited to 32 to 34 inches.

How Often should I Check my Exercise Equipment?
GoFit equipment should always be checked thoroughly before each and every use to assure there are no nicks, tears, holes or other damage to the item. Using damaged items could lead to severe injury. If any sign of damage or wear is present, immediately discontinue use of the item and contact GoFit Customer Service for assistance.

This Limited Warranty applies to physical goods purchased from GoFit, LLC.

The Limited Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal and expected personal use during the warranty period.
All GoFit products are warranted for 90 days from purchase.

The Limited Warranty does not cover any problem that has arisen from:
• Use outside of a home environment or personal use.
• Damage from use of the product in a manner not directed.
• Damage from neglect or abuse
• Damage in shipping (unless shipped direct from GoFit Store)
• Any and all other situations that were not related to defect in manufacture.

To obtain warranty service, original owner of the product must contact GoFit Customer Service directly, for review of the problem and resolution appropriate to each customers’ issue.
